With a passion for enhancing vision, Dr. Modabber offers a comprehensive range of refractive procedures, including SMILE, LASIK, PRK, corneal cross-linking (CXL), ICL, RLE, and refractive cataract surgery.
Driven by a commitment to education and patient well-being, Dr. Modabber has authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles and delivered presentations at numerous national and international conferences, helping shape the landscape of ophthalmology. His outstanding contributions have earned him over 30 national and international awards, including the prestigious ASCRS Young Eye Surgeons International Service Grant and the Leadership Development Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
Dr. Modabber is also deeply passionate about restoring sight to those in need around the world. In addition to his work with Canada’s aboriginal communities, he has volunteered on medical missions to countries like India, Kenya, Mongolia, Jordan, and Costa Rica amongst others.
Outside the operating room and research endeavors, Dr. Modabber cherishes moments with his family and loved ones. A fervent sports enthusiast, he enjoys soccer and tennis, finding joy in both competition and camaraderie. He also loves exploring the world through travel, photography, and deep-sea diving.
